Thurgood Marshall Summer Law
Internship: This
program gives New York City
high school students excelling academically the opportunity to work in a
legal environment and learn about the profession. Some typical assignments
include: assisting paralegals, filing, record keeping, clerking in the law
library, assisting back office personnel, data entry, and document and
exhibit organization. All participating students have to show an interest
in law by enrolling in a law-related curriculum in high school or
participating in moot court or mock trial competitions. Must be at least age 16 years old.
